SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KELO) — In Sioux City, Interstate 29 construction is just months away from completion.
All lanes of the interstate will be re-opened by the end of fall after nearly 15 years of work. With the Iowa Department of Transportation, Dakin Schultz, has been with the project for years.
He hopes people remember why they started this decade-long project and how much better the new interstate will be.
The Iowa DOT is planning work on on-and-off ramps for next year.
