SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Forecasted high winds mean skiers and snowboarders won’t be able to hit the slopes at Great Bear Ski Valley.
The ski area announced on social media it will be closed due to the strong winds that are expected.
Great Bear opened for the season last Thursday.
