Gov. Noem signs emergency declaration for Day County

PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) — Governor Kristi Noem signed an emergency declaration for Day County, South Dakota on Thursday.

Executive Order 2020-27 is an emergency declaration for Day County due to damage to its road systems caused by spring flooding. Gov. Noem says the disaster declaration is needed to apply for Federal Highway Administration Emergency Relief Funding.
