Furry first-responder retires

RAPID CITY, SD (KELO) –A longtime first-responder in Rapid City has retired.

“Cisco,” a member of the Rapid City Fire Department and South Dakota Task Force 1, retired on Friday.

He began his career in 2014 but is stepping down for health reasons.

Cisco took part in the search following the Copper Lounge building collapse in downtown Sioux Falls back in 2016.
