Fatal motorcycle crash in Douglas County

CORSICA, S.D. (KELO) — South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that left one man dead Saturday afternoon.

According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, a motorcycle was heading east on Highway 281 when it went into the ditch. The 40-year-old driver was thrown from the vehicle. 

He wasn’t wearing a helmet. He was taken to a hospital in Amour where he was pronounced dead.
