SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Sioux Falls Police say a driver faces charges after crashing into Sip-N-Cycle in downtown Sioux Falls Saturday evening.
Authorities were called to the area of 4th Street and Main Avenue.
Police say the driver in the car was headed south when he hit the Sip-N-Cycle, which was traveling north.
Several people were taken from the scene by ambulance with serious injuries, but they are expected to recover.
Police say the driver of the vehicle, 25-year-old Justin Rabago, faces multiple charges including DUI 3rd offense.
Sip-N-Cycle released this statement on Sunday:
Last night a drunk driver reminded us of how quickly something awful can happen to innocent people. Our thoughts are w/ our riders who were injured and we'll continue to be with them as they recover.
