RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO) — Monday starts the community clean-up project in Rapid City. Over the next week, thousands of volunteers will fan out over the city to pick up trash.

Also this week, people can dispose of items at the landfill for free.

The city says this is a good time to clean out your garage, attic, basement and yard for anything that needs to be taken to the landfill.
