CHAMBERLAIN, S.D. - Authorities in Chamberlain are sending out a unique warning to the public.
The Brule County Sheriff's Office posted a picture on Facebook Wednesday night telling people to be careful while out on a stroll.
A rattlesnake was found on the sidewalk by the American Creek Bridge in Chamberlain.
The sheriff's office says the snakes like to keep warm on the cement because it holds the heat.
They warn with the warm days and cooler nights there could be unexpected dangers on the walkways.
