ABERDEEN, S.D. (KELO) — Investigators in Aberdeen are looking into what sparked a fire just north of Northern State University.
Officials say it happened just after 2 p.m. Thursday.
Crews arriving on the scene found smoke coming out of vents and attic windows.
No one was home at the time of the fire, but firefighters did have to rescue 2 dogs that were inside.
