UPDATE: Avera Health lockdown lifted

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — An Avera spokeswoman told KELOLAND News Avera hospitals in Sioux Falls lifted the lockdown at 4 a.m. Monday.


12:06 a.m.

Due to the citywide curfew in Sioux Falls, Avera Health is taking action.

A spokesperson says out of an abundance of caution, all Avera hospitals and emergency rooms in the city are being placed on lock down.

The email statement continues:

Emergency patients will still be admitted, and security is present at entrances. Employees should still report to work for scheduled shifts.
