One person facing life-threatening injuries after incident in southeastern SF

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Sioux Falls Police have released more info on an incident that happened Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say one person has life-threatening injuries following an incident in southeastern Sioux Falls.

Police were called to the home this afternoon for a burglary and shooting. Once there, one adult and a child were taken from the home unharmed.

Another adult was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound. More details are expected to be released tomorrow.


Sioux Falls Police responded to a crime scene Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the area of South Doodler Drive and E 23rd Street in eastern Sioux Falls around 2. Authorities have crime scene tape on garbage bins at a residence.

Authorities say the public is not in danger.
