After six deaths on S.D. roads, public safety officials highlight safety reminders

PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) — The Department of Public Safety is calling for safety among South Dakota residents. 

The department announced in a tweet of the six deaths from four vehicle crashes last week, only two were wearing seatbelts.

They also remind people to make sure they have working smoke detectors after four fatal fires.
