SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Sioux Falls Police said a Samuel Nelson, 45, of Renner, is accused of causing a crash at 54th Street North and Cliff Avenue on Saturday night.

Police said two drivers were attempting to turn, when Nelson ran the red light and crashed into them both.

Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Nelson faces several charges including vehicular battery, DUI and drug charges.
He’s scheduled to be in court this afternoon.
