24 pounds of fentanyl found in traffic stop near Cheyenne

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A traffic stop in Wyoming also ended with a big drug bust.

Last week, a Highway Patrol trooper stopped a vehicle near Cheyenne for speeding.

Troopers became suspicious when the driver gave them inconsistent travel plans.

A search of the vehicle turned up about 24 pounds of suspected fentanyl. The estimated street value is $150 million. The driver faces several drug charges.
