SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Two crashes on Interstate 90 blocked the roadway Friday night. About 12 vehicles and 12 semi trucks were involved in the two crashes. Only minor injuries were reported.

About 40 vehicles and 30 semi trucks also became stopped in the pile up but did not receive damages. Other vehicles entered the median to avoid collisions.

Friday night the wind was causing near white-out conditions and roadways were extremely slippery. The SDHP responded to the crashes.
