Here at KELOLAND Media group, we bring you many stories of different organizations doing impactful things in your communities.
On Sunday afternoon the Sioux Falls chapter of 100+ Women Who Care met to award money from members to a nonprofit.
Sunday, the three nonprofits in contention were the Family Visitation Center, Healing Hope Ministries and Wheels to Work.
“After the three have completed their presentations and questions have been asked, then members vote, and after the vote is completed the nonprofit that has been chosen is awarded for that particular meeting,” said Sondra Kimball, volunteer with 100+ Women Who Care.
Members are asked to give $100 to the nonprofit that’s picked. Coming up on KELOLAND Weekend News at Ten, we’ll tell you who won, and highlight what this organization means to the community.
