A Minnehaha County judge handed down a suspended sentence for Alex Lingor on Tuesday.
Lingor pleaded guilty to manslaughter, aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon and distribution of marijuana in February 2018 in connection with an incident a year earlier. Lingor was involved in a drug rip turned high-speed chase and crash that killed 15-year old Kareem Cisse in Feburary 2017.
Cisse’s family calls the sentence “racist.”
This is a developing story.
