KELOLAND On The Go Wednesday, May 1

News

Happy May 1st. Here’s Wednesday’s KELOLAND On The Go.

It’s another busy weather day for people in western South Dakota. The snow has forced three schools to close for the day.

More rain is expected for central and eastern KELOLAND. Things turn drier Thursday and warmer weather is ahead.  We still see a little rain in the southeast late Friday.

You may want to think twice before you eat any fish you caught from South Dakota lakes. Three state government agencies issued advisories, warning people to be cautious about the fish they eat from some lakes.

While KELOLAND is cleaning up from flooding, areas of Iowa are now underwater. The City of Davenport says the flood barrier failed and that several streets are underwater.

Turner County is seeing it’s fair share of road woes and property damage thanks to devastating spring flooding. KELOLAND’s Matt Holsen has a preview of his Eye On KELOLAND.
