Keeping Loved Ones Nearby Through Jewelry

News

Say Anything Jewelry in Downtown Sioux Falls is helping local residents keep their loved ones close by.

Owner Stephanie Wilde specializes in custom jewelry featuring fingerprints and handwriting. Sixty to 70 percent of her business comes from people who have lost friends or family members. Wilde will even work with hospice houses and funeral homes to get fingerprints of your loved ones.

“You know in your heart they’re with you all the time. Then you’ve got that piece that you’ve physically got to touch and hold. You can look down. I have my daughter’s handwriting on my wrist. I can look down at any time of the day and see that. It’s just really special. You know your loved ones are always there with you,” Wilde said.

Wilde has been making jewelry since 2009. She started in her kitchen. She’s had a storefront in downtown for the past three years.
