Iowa Train Derailment May Take Two Weeks To Clean Up

It could take up to two weeks to clean up a train that derailed in northwestern Iowa Sunday.

The train went off the tracks Sunday morning near the town of Atlon, which is just east of Orange City.

Authorities say it looks like the bridge may have failed.

The good news is the Alton community doesn’t need to worry about the area being hazardous. The train was only carrying industrial sand and soybean oil.
