A house under construction in the southern Sioux Falls has many neighbors and the city wondering if it will ever be done.
Right now it is sitting vacant, with police being called to the home for vandalisms.
So KELOLAND Investigates looked into the owner, Vitaliy Strizheus, who now goes by the name of Vick.
If his name sounds familiar, it’s because he was in trouble with the law back in 2009. At the time, prosecutors called him a con-man.
KELOLAND Investigates also found out that big house in southern Sioux Falls, isn’t the only house he owns.
When we last reported on Vick Strizheus he was sentenced to 90 days in jail and five years probation for grand theft.
As an insurance man he was getting paid advance commissions for any clients he signed up through Mutual of Omaha and Americo.
In 2007, he got caught filing life insurance applications for people who didn’t exist, which netted him thousands of dollars in commissions he didn’t earn.
Today, now 34 years old, Strizheus is doing business over the internet teaching people how to make money. According to his website, he says it’s a plan he says he came up with when he was sitting in the Minnehaha County Jail.
According to the Secretary of State’s web site, Strizheus has two LLC Companies in Sioux Falls. One, Four Percent Group, is listed at this address on South Louise Avenue, but the front door was locked.
He also lists an address on West 41st Street for his other business called VS Marketing, but it’s just a mailbox inside the UPS store.
KELOLAND Investigates stopped by his other house Wednesday on North Shawnee Avenue to see if we could get an interview with him, but no one came to the door, even though there was a van parked in his driveway.
We want to point out Strizheus is not facing any charges, in fact his neighbors told us he’s a nice guy.
KELOLAND Investigates checked with the Better Business Bureau and Four Percent Group is not accredited with the BBB, but there are no complaints filed online.
