Information Center Attempts To Bring More Motorcyclists To Sioux Falls

More than 500,000 motorcyclists are expected to head to Sturgis for the country’s largest motorcycle rally.

The Sioux Falls Convention and Visitor’s Bureau is setting up post at the Valley Springs Information Center on I-90 West. The goal is to make Sioux Falls a destination city, rather than a drive-through city along the way.

“There’s a lot of bikers coming through, a lot of visitors coming through, so we’re just ready to welcome them, and tell them all about what Sioux Falls has to offer,” Rachel Crane, with the Sioux Falls Visitors Bureau & Convention Center, said.

Several hotels and businesses are also set up to let travelers know about accommodations in Sioux Falls.
