The Huron Police Department is warning businesses and customers to be on the lookout for fake $100 bills.
Authorities say they’ve received several reports of counterfeit money turning up at local businesses.
The police department posted photos to show the difference between a fake bill and a real one. The fake bill has pink lettering on it.
To businesses in the Huron area:
Once again we’ve received reports of counterfeit $100 bills being passed in town at local businesses. Please be extra careful when taking any $100 bills at this time.
