Some homeowners in KELOLAND are cleaning up after Sunday’s early morning severe thunderstorms.
Crews and homeowners were cleaning up sticks and trees after severe thunderstorms came through the area early Sunday morning.
Tree removal and landscaping companies were helping people get rid of the debris.
Minnehaha Emergency Manager Lynn DeYoung says severe weather like this is common for this time of year.
“This is what severe weather is all about. This is why we continue to encourage people to take it seriously. This happens all the time in South Dakota. It’s just some of the things we deal with in living in our great state,” DeYoung said.
DeYoung says no one was injured from the storms.
