Helicopter, Airplane Being Used In Search For Missing Snowmobile Riders

Searchers are looking Tuesday evening for four snowmobile riders from South Dakota missing in Wyoming’s Snow Range Mountains.

The search for the men resumed Tuesday morning in the mountains west of Laramie, Wyoming. The riders were last seen Saturday afternoon.

Family members tell KELOLAND News a helicopter and airplane are being used in the search. Also, more than 50 snowmobilers are helping authorities look for the missing four snowmobilers.

The sheriff’s department says the search area is very large because it’s not known exactly where the men planned to go.
