Nursing home taking precautions following positive COVID-19 tests


HOWARD, S.D. (KELO) — Like many schools and businesses across South Dakota, the Good Samaritan Society nursing home in Howard is responding to a rising number of COVID-19 cases.

In just the last few days, 12 residents and six employees have tested positive.

The nursing home is taking precautions, including putting group activities and family visits on hold.
