Mandatory lockdown issued for Pine Ridge Reservation

PINE RIDGE, S.D. (KELO) — The President of the Oglala Sioux Tribe has issued a mandatory lockdown of the Pine Ridge Reservation.

The lockdown will limit travel to and from the reservation. It also gives authorities the ability to strictly enforce the Shelter-in-place Ordinance and Border Monitoring Ordinance.

The lockdown will last 14 days.
