Flooding in eastern KELOLAND temporarily closed its biggest city’s namesake, but Falls Park is now welcoming visitors again.
As of 5 p.m. Friday, Falls Park is again open in Sioux Falls. Something to keep in mind is that not all of it is open- a lower viewing area is closed, in addition to a segment of the bike trail at Falls Park. And good news for bikers, runners and others; 11 miles of the bike trail are opening up again.
For those of you who have sandbags, starting Saturday you’ll have three places where you can drop them off: Sherman, Riverdale and Tomar Parks. They open at 8 a.m. Saturday and go until 7 p.m. The sites will be open for two weeks.
