SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Most children love playing outside on a nice summer day, especially in one of our city parks.
But for anyone in a wheelchair, there are unique challenges that come with trying to enjoy the outdoors; especially when it comes to wheelchair accessible playground equipment.
But a Sioux Falls mother is hoping that'll soon change.
"It would be ideal for her and not just her, but other individuals in Sioux Falls that have disabilities too who enjoy the outdoors just as much as her," Heather Christensen said.
In Monday's Eye on KELOLAND, hear from Christensen, a mother, who is working to get parks in Sioux Falls that her daughter, and other people with disabilities, can enjoy.
