SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — There’s a nationwide push for consumers to support local businesses owned by people of color.
One of those in KELOLAND is Swamp Daddy’s. Julian Beaudion and his wife started with a food truck, and eventually settled into Jones 4-2-1. Beaudion says the community has been welcoming.
“Food has always connected families. Whatever your background is. No matter what your belief is. You can always come to the table and break bread with each other,” Julian Beaudion said.
On Thursday’s Eye On KELOLAND, we’ll talk with two business owners about how spending your dollars here supports diversity within in communities.
