PINE RIDGE, S.D. (KELO) — “One Garden Project” on the Pine Ridge Reservation is building financial independence and food security through gardening for families on the reservation.

“It offers the community, a better quality vegetable because we have to travel an hour and a half almost two hours to get vegetables,” gardening manager Doug Pourier said.
