SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The pandemic has had a huge impact on artists and performers across the country.
“The arts are an important part of society and you don’t realize how much until they get taken away from you,” LHS sophomore Sean Baker.
Lincoln High School Sophomore Sean Baker is using his own art to help bring the issue to the national stage. The 16-year-old created a documentary for the C-SPAN StudentCam competition, putting the spotlight on several Sioux Falls artists and performers while also interviewing one of the nation’s leading experts on the arts.
We’ll show you more of his work and what inspired his documentary, coming up in tonight’s Eye on KELOLAND at 10 p.m.
