SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation has a list of the top careers in the state.
This “hot list” as they call it, is ranked based on salary and demand. School counselors will use this information to help students determine the best fit for their future.
“We just take our cue from the student. What they’re interested in. If they really like school they might be a good candidate for a two or four year college,” Washington High School counselor Holly Borchers said.
In Tuesday’s Eye On KELOLAND, we’ll take a look at the career list and find out what’s being done to fill those in-demand jobs.
