SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — You don’t have to sit in a desk to learn. From an outdoor classroom made of stone, to an apple orchard, there are a lot of places for learning on the campus at Augustana University.
“Using this land as not just a place where you can sit outdoors, but having almost a laboratory where we can experiment and learn about this place we call home,” Dave O’Hara, Augustana Director of Sustainability & Environmental Studies said.
Coming up in Monday night’s Eye on KELOLAND at 10 p.m., we’ll explore the unique classrooms on Augustana’s campus.
