VERMILLION, S.D. (KELO) — Two interior designers are restoring a mid-century motel in Vermillion.
Studio 13 Motel dates back to the 60s. Over the past three and a half years the women have been busy remodeling the place.
“Once we moved here, the first few months were very overwhelming, but we kind of settled down after we put out the first couple of fires and floods and things like that,” Studio 13 Motel & RV Park co-owner, Katherine Peel said.
