Sioux Falls public schools hold their graduation ceremonies Sunday

It’s that time of year when high school students across KELOLAND are graduating.

KELOLAND’s Nathan Finster was at the Sioux Falls Arena Sunday where the Sioux Falls public schools are having their graduation ceremonies.

Friends and family have filled the arena for graduation ceremonies for the classes of 2019.

Roosevelt, Washington, Lincoln, and New Tech High Schools are all having their graduations in the arena Sunday.

Alexis Notestine is a graduate from Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School.

She says she’s learned a lot about others at her time there.

“Everybody’s different. We all have different cliques, all have different passions, and it’s just something that we have to adjust as we meet new people,” Notestine said.

Notestine says she will miss the structured routine of high school.

Coming up Sunday night at 10, we talk with graduates about their plans after high school.
