Hear from Sioux Falls School Board candidates at forum this week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Voters in Sioux Falls will soon decide who should fill two school board member positions.

Absentee voting for the school board election is already underway.  

If you want to learn more about the candidates, the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce will host a public forum this week.  The chamber says all four candidates are expected to take part.

The names on the ballot will be:

  • Sarah K. Anderson
  • Lora Hubbel
  • Nan Baker
  • Carly R. Reiter

The event on Thursday, May 16 is free and open to the public.  Hear from the candidates starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Instructional Planning Center at 201 E. 38th Street in Sioux Falls.

Absentee voting is taking place at the Instructional Planning Center until May 20. Election day is on May 21.

Registered voters may stop at 13 voting centers across the city on that day.
