The South Dakota Highway Patrol is still clearing the scene after a concrete slab fell off a semi truck Tuesday morning.
The crash happened on the 12th Street on-ramp onto northbound Interstate 29.
The Highway Patrol says the semi was turning onto the interstate around 9:15 a.m. when the driver felt the load start to slip.
Investigators say the 44,000-pound slab caused damage to state and county property.
The driver was not hurt, but he was cited for improper load securement.
