Drinking Water Advisory In Pierre

If you live in Pierre, be careful of the water that comes out of your sink.

City officials are warning that city water exceeds federal recommended levels for manganese. 

Mayor Steve Harding said most homes have in-home systems to mitigate it. 

But if your home doesn’t have water softeners or reverse osmosis systems, you should use purchased water to drink or cook.
