It took just more than three hours for a home at the center of a legal battle to be torn down.
A judge ruled the house across from McKennan Park violated several historic codes in the neighborhood. The South Dakota Supreme Court upheld that ruling.
After that, a judge ordered the owners either tear it down or move it after they failed to bring it into compliance.

Earlier this year a judge ruled the controversial house in McKennan park had to move or be torn down.
On Monday crews started the process by removing the windows.
