SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — Our team of KELOLAND meteorologists will be programming weather radios for free Saturday in Sioux Falls. They’ll be programming weather radios at the Hy-Vee at 26th & Marion from 9-11 a.m. They’ll also help you download the free KELOLAND Stormtracker app for your Apple and Android devices and show you all the features on the app.
The Spring Parade of Homes showcases more than 80 new homes on display in Sioux Falls, Brandon, Harrisburg, Tea, Canton and Wentworth. The parade hours are 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. All homes are free to tour except the two Feature Homes which are $5 each. The proceeds will go to the Home Builders Care Foundation.
The Downtown Loft Tour is a self-guided tour of vacant and occupied lofts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Register at Shriver Square on Phillips Avenue. The cost is $5, free for kids 12 and under.
NAMIWalks South Dakota is a mental health awareness event and fundraiser at Sertoma Park in Sioux Falls. Registration is at 8 a.m. The walk starts at 9:30 a.m.
Walk MS: Sioux Falls is a benefit for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Registration is at 8 a.m. at Cherry Rock Park. The walk starts at 9 a.m.
It’s Open House Weekend at South Dakota state parks. There is free entrance at all state parks, plus the fishing’s free so licenses are not required. Camping fees still apply.
Activities at the Tulip Festival in Orange City, Iowa include tours of the Dutch Heritage Museum starting at 9 a.m., a Volksparade at 1 p.m., live music throughout the day, a puppet show at 4:45 p.m., and a performance of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at 8 p.m.
The Sioux Empire Community Theatre presents two performances of the musical Oliver! Show times are 2 & 7 p.m. at the downtown Orpheum Theater. Tickets are $30.
The Storm indoor football team takes on the Nebraska Danger at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. KIckoff is at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are available at the KELOLAND Box Office.
