Authorities: Missing woman last spotted in northwestern Iowa

News

Sioux Falls Police believe a 76-year-old woman who has been missing for a week appeared on surveillance video in northwestern Iowa.

Authorities say Kathryn Butler used her credit card at a gas station in Orange City on April 24. However, she hasn’t been heard from since.

Police are still asking for the public’s help to locate Butler to make sure she is doing okay.

“I mean the main reason we’re looking for her is because she has some medical issues, one of the things she needs to take is some medication on a regular basis, that medication was left at her house. We don’t believe she has any with her. Family is concerned about her and so we’re just trying to find her,”  Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said.

Police believe Butler is likely driving her gold 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with South Dakota Plates 44S-W99.
