A staple of a Sioux Falls summer is just about here.
Crews started setting up the tents for Jazz fest at Yankton Trail Park. This year the event will only be two days instead of three.
Also new, there will be a designated area for Lyft drivers.
Jazzfest is free for everyone.
“It’s the wave of the future. people are using Lyft a lot and we still have our shuttles running with our school buses. We still have parking here inside the park but I think its going to make it easier for folks to get to and from Jazzfest,” Executive Director of Jazzfest Rob Joyce said.
Friday’s headliner is Jimmy Vaughan. Saturday’s headliner will be Taj Mahal.
