Soehl Wins City Council Election

Members of the Sioux Falls City Council play a leading role in making significant decisions about the city's future.

On Tuesday, voters in the central district elected Curt Soehl to represent them on the city council.  Soehl finished with 51 percent of the votes compared to Zach DeBoer who got 49 percent of the votes.  

When KELOLAND News talked with the two candidates about upcoming decisions facing the council, 58-year-old insurance manager Soehl said he supports putting money toward the Sioux Falls Arena.

Soehl also likes of the idea of moving Sioux Falls Canaries' Stadium to downtown.
