Legislation coming next year in Washington, D.C. will have a big impact on KELOLAND.
2018 will bring a new farm bill. KELOLAND News caught up with Minnesota Sen. Al Franken to find out about his work on the bill.
“I’ve put an energy title, into, introduced it this week to the farm bill, this is to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy” Franken said.
Speaking at last month’s Dakotafest about the farm bill, South Dakota Sen. John Thune said that “we got to get the ideas out that get the conversation going.”
