An Aberdeen woman was arrested after Aberdeen Police responded to a call of a drunk driver with a child in the car at 2:36 p.m. on Monday.
The Aberdeen Police Deparment said Rena Robinson, age 30, fled authorities but was stopped after spike strips helped end after a short pursuit.
Robinson was charged with DUI 4th, child abuse, elduing law officer, false personation with intent to deceive law enforcement, simple assault, probation violation and failure to obey a traffic control device.
Authorities say the child was unharmed and is now with a relative.
