Series of crashes
Sioux Falls Police are investigating a series of hit and run crashes that left a trail of damage this morning. Two people were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Russian Maria Butina will have to serve nine more months in prison on her guilty plea for conspiring to act as an unregistered foreign agent. Butina admitted to covertly gathering intelligence on the NRA and other groups at the direction of a former Russian lawmaker. Global Aquaponics Trial
Tim Burns took the stand in the Global Aquaponics trial on Friday. He’s accused of scamming investors out of tens of thousands of dollars.
Burns told jurors he believed everything he told investors was true.

Search for Serenity
Authorities are bringing in dog teams from four states this weekend as they continue searching for a 9-year-old girl who went missing in the Black Hills area nearly three months ago. Serenity Dennard ran away from the Black Hills Children’s Home in February. About 30 people will be involved.
Mall of America boy out of critical condition
The family of a 5-year-old boy who was injured when he was thrown from a third-floor balcony at the Mall of America says the boy is now out of critical condition and is alert and conscious.
They say the recovery for the boy will be long, but they expect him to be home by sometime in June.
