There are nearly 900,000 people living in South Dakota and nearly one third of them has a bachelor’s degree or higher.
Chances are, if you want to go to college, or want your kids to, you’ve probably wondered how it’s going to get paid for.
As of right now, you can’t bank on another presidential order erasing part of the bill for students, which means it pays to do your homework before you start writing the checks for books, tuition and room and board. A new video series is being rolled out in South Dakota that aims to give students the biggest bang for their college buck, and could help them avoid costly mistakes.
The Paying for College SD video series is supported by a grant from the South Dakota Community Foundation and was produced in partnership with Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Black Hills and the Career Learning Center of the Black Hills, a division of BHSSC – Black Hills Special Services Cooperative.
