Social justice is a complex topic and thinking about what we do and how that affects others is something that challenges most of us on a daily basis. Understanding the five faces of oppression is one tool we can use as we continue to educate ourselves on diversity and inclusion.
Willette Capers is the Assistant dean of students for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Augustana University.
