Tackle your Tuesday with KELOLAND Living

Show Recap

Happy Tuesday! Are you recovered from all your holiday festivities yet? We are and we had another great encore performance for you today.

There’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh baked bread filling your home with a warm, comforting aroma that reminds us to slow down and enjoy life, and today is the perfect day to do just that. We shared a delicious pumpkin bread recipe that we know you’ll love.

Speaking of baking, we shared a very unique way to decorate cookies using watercolors. This is the perfect craft for the kiddos if they are already driving you crazy being home for winter break.

More than 37,000 veterans are homeless in the United States. We talked with an organization to learn more about their goal of creating a village of tiny homes for veterans is becoming a reality, and how you can help.

Another way to get involved and give back is by stopping by the Community Blood Bank and donating. They joined us on today’s show to talk about the shortage of donations and why those are becoming greater through the holiday season.

It wouldn’t be a Tuesday without sitting down Across The Table with a special person in KELOLAND that we think you should know. We stopped by JJ’s Wine, Spirits & Cigars to chat with Culver’s Owner, Nick Magera.
